We’re so glad you’ve chosen to visit WildeWood Farm! Whether you’re coming for a riding lesson, summer camp, birthday party, Scout program, volunteer day, or simply to visit the horses, we want your first trip to the farm to be as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.
Finding the Farm
As you turn into the entrance (5150 Oak Grove Circle, Cumming, GA), you’ll notice our large silver feed silo on the left. Follow the paved driveway as it winds through the woods.
Many first-time visitors tell us they wonder if they’re in the right place because all they can see are trees! Don’t worry, you are. Just keep following the driveway.
As you come down the big hill, the forest suddenly opens into the heart of WildeWood Farm. You’ll be greeted by wide green pastures stretching out on both sides of the road, with horses quietly grazing and enjoying life outdoors. This is where your farm adventure begins.
Riding Lessons
You’ll pass our outdoor riding arena near the horse trailer parking area.
If you’re coming for a riding lesson, please continue past the arena and drive up the hill to the red barn. Our volunteers will be waiting there to welcome you, answer any questions, and help match you with your horse before lesson time begins.
Our Four-Legged Greeters
Don’t be surprised if you’re welcomed by some very enthusiastic dogs!
Our large livestock guardian dogs live with the farm animals and take their jobs very seriously. Their first responsibility is to let us know whenever someone arrives, so it’s perfectly normal for them to bark as you drive in.
Once they’ve announced your arrival, they’re usually happy to come over and say hello. They are gentle, friendly members of our farm family who love meeting visitors.
For everyone’s safety, please leave your own dogs at home. This allows our guardian dogs to remain focused on protecting the livestock and keeps all of the animals comfortable.
Parking at WildeWood Farm
Parking is easy! You may park:
- Along either side of the gravel driveway, or
- Beside the hay barn on the left.
When You Arrive
Once you’ve parked, simply come into the red barn and let one of our friendly volunteers know you’ve arrived. They’ll be happy to answer questions, point you in the right direction, and help you get settled for your visit.
