Horse Camp
Get your very own horse for the entire week. Learn from the ground up, with catching the horse out of the field, learning to lead, groom, saddle, ride, as well as care and nutrition. We’ll have a horse show on Friday at 11:15 to showcase all that the children have learned over the week. Enjoy our safe and highly trained horses while working with kind and attentive leaders.
Hybrid Camp
July 13 – 17 is a hybrid week that combines all the fun of the farm adventure camp with the option to ride more. Children have a choice each day to decide if they’d rather ride horses or do the adventure option.
Adventure Camp
Farm adventure camp combines the joys of horseback riding (2 days) with the other activities that are central to farm operation including: small animal husbandry (care of the farm animals: goats, sheep, cows, pigs, horses), archery, gardening, nature hikes, and creek exploration. This is a super fun and hands on experience for children of all sizes. Fast paced and child friendly.
Important Reminder:
Because we have our dogs roaming the grounds at WildeWood Farm as livestock guardians, we do not allow guests to bring their dogs on site (or even leave them in the car).
Please leave your furry friends at home when you visit for a party, camp, or lesson!
More About WildeWood Farm Camps
Our company has 30 years of experience in the industry and is run by a generation of equestrians. Established in 1996 in Cumming, Georgia we are here to provide you with the most conscious and exciting experience. While many of our clients seek services for beginner horse riding lessons, we offer training for more acquired skills as well. If you or a child is in need of further horseback training, we can assist you in furthering your knowledge.
With our certified instructor, you can expect a safe and thoroughly educational experience that your child will learn important lessons from. Our day camp requires lunches to be packed each day, and we also ask that children wear closed-toe shoes, jeans, and weather-appropriate tops; please consider a change of shirts for warmer afternoon temperatures. If you are living in the Ball Ground, Cumming, Canton or Alpharetta area, call us today at 770-843-2478 to learn more about our incredible holiday break camp for kids.

When I drive down their paved driveway and catch a glimpse of the red barn in the distance and the horses grazing in the fields, I feel a sense of peace and freedom. Yesterday was a trail ride day and Miss Hannah was patiently and humorously helping people get their mounts and instructions on which of the 3 trailers to load into. Their is always a good attitude among the riders anticipating fun and fellowship. It is never cold or wet when they are on the horses.Posted on Julie PerryTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. So grateful for WildeWood Farm and everything riding here is teaching my daughter. Time outside in the fresh air with these amazing horses, and watching her gain strength and confidence, is such a gift 🐎💛 Her little sister is also having a blast making friends and playing with the friendly animals around the farm. I am so grateful for Hannah and her methods. She is inspirational for children and adults, alike.Posted on Dana CroyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have had a fantastic experience here! Our daughter has done adventure camp and now does riding lessons. It’s been the perfect atmosphere for her to ease into things. They have been so patient with her and helped her grow her confidence. She started not wanting to ride at all but now can’t wait to go each week! It’s a very supportive environment where they help each child find their voice and confidence to interact with the animals, each other and change how they see themselves. We are so thankful to have found this farm!Posted on Nadine BakerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We LOVE WildeWood Farm! It is an amazing experience. Its about more than just riding - Hannah teaches my daughter about the horses, how to take care of them and the techniques to properly ride them. The whole process completes an important piece of accountability and responsibility that we were looking for to help our daughter with confidence! 🐎Posted on Brittany GorhamTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My daughter started at Wildewood Farms as a 5 year old at a summer camp. She fell in love, and has been taking lessons for the last (almost) two years. Ms. Hannah is an AMAZING, patient teacher. She has taught my daughter so much, and continues to help her grow. Not only does my daughter take weekly lessons, but she begged to have her birthday party there too. It was wonderful- Hannah and all of her helpers made the day run smoothly, and the girls had a blast!! Couldn’t recommend Wildwood farms enough for lessons, parties, and camps!Posted on Mary Amelia CardTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My daughter previously rode at another farm closer to our house . We finally made the switch to Wildwood and couldn’t be happier ! My daughter has gained so many valuable skills and her riding has progressed significantly. Not only has she learned how to ride, but also various levels of horsemanship - giving all riders a sense of independence and ownership . We love Hannah and the community is welcoming and and the farm has just so much personality . Every time we leave the farm , we feel invigorated . We love it so much that we drive 45 minutes weekly just to be there! We will forever be a part of this community and are so grateful to have discovered Wildwood !!!Posted on Bettina BommariusTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. my daughter has been going here for her riding lessons for over one year now and I truly love the professionalism and care that is being out into her learning to ride the proper way so she is able to control whatever horse she may get before moving on. The owner, Hannah is very knowledgable in everything horse related and will make all the efforts for you to have a great time there. I love the setting, the serenity of the place and the education my daughter gets. If you want to escape the city for an afternoon sign up and enjoy the farm.Posted on sabina kulaginTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. As someone who takes lessons here, Wildewood Farm is by far my favorite place in Forsyth County. Mrs. Hannah is an outstanding trainer with the kindest soul. I spent my summer at the farm this past year, and I made so many new memories as well as friends! The lesson horses are amazing, and Mrs. Hannah has helped me rebuild my confidence around horses. This farm is an amazing place to take lessons, be around horses, and/or develop important qualities like good work ethic, patience, and dedication.Posted on Rose ChampaignTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I am a senior rider and I can highly recommend this farm and MS Hannah for everything about horses and riding. Her knowledge is expansive and it’s a joy to go there. I have been riding there for eight years and I love it.Posted on Paula VillanustreTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
