Zipped Fleet

Dexter is a 16 year old, 16 hand, American Paint horse gelding. He was donated to us March 2005 by the Howe family. He’s a wonderfully quiet horse with lots of talent. He’s very steady and has become a nice show horse that many children and adults love.

Keowee Kate

Kate is a 29 year old, 15.1 h registered liver chestnut Morgan mare. She’s been a part of our program since Spring 2000. She was also a major part of the “Woodward” program for 4 years. Many people learn how to canter on Kate. She’s a joy to ride and work around.

best L sideIndy is an 12 year old, 15 hand, Arab/Appendix QH gelding by our late Sir Lancelott and out of Rivermont Farm’s CF Twist N Shout. He was sold as a 4 year old and purchased back as a 9 year old. He’s a fantastic mover and is a winner on the flat. He’s a great intermediate horse.

Kodak Moment

Coda came to us March of 2012 after retiring from a trail riding farm up in the North GA mountains. His job is to teach walk/trot to beginners. He has a good heart and loves to follow the horse in front of him.

Sam I Am

Sam is a 21 year old, 14.1 hand, palomino, QH pony that was purchased by the farm Feb. 2007. He’s a super sweet boy that loves to jump with the intermediate riders. The judges love him too.

Fairytale Ending

IMG_5266 Bliss is a 17 year old, 15 hand, Welsh Cob mare. She came to the farm the fall of 2011. She’d been a show horse and then a broodmare. After completing the intensive “can you be a lesson horse” protocol, she joined the beginner lesson program and now loves beginners and jumping riders alike.

Penny For A Thought

She is a 16.1 hand, 16 year old, Percheron/Paint cross that has returned to active lesson use after a 3 year sabbatical in TN with some friends.  We used her as a show mare before she moved to TN, and she has come back into work nicely.  Her nickname is “Sopha” as she’s so comfortable to ride.

Just In Time

20150815-WWF Aug Barn Show-0087Justin is a 14.3 hand, 24 year old Quarter Horse cross. He was donated to the farm in April of 2015 by the Sloan family. He has been to 4-H state numerous times, and holds many championships at the 3’6 level. He is now retired to crossrails and 2 foot. We love having this spunky gelding at our farm.

Prescott is a lovely 12 year old gelding that was donated to us by the Salter family after his owner went off to college. He did not want to be a children’s hunter, but is talented on the flat and over fences and is a very willing horse with our advanced lesson girls in the irons. He is a beautiful horse, and as lovely to work with as he is to look at.

Titan (18.1h) next to Coda (14.3h)

Titan, appropriately named as he stands at over 18 h, is a new addition to our farm and is the second horse donated to the lesson program by the Howe family. He originally belonged to a former student who purchased him as a 4′ horse, but couldn’t handle the pressure at such a young age. Now, at 11, he is on the road to being much more confident and is a very fun ride for our advanced riders. We are so happy to have this fun and energetic gelding at our farm and excited to watch him come into himself.

Big Ben

Ben is a relatively new addition to our farm, and is becoming a nice lesson horse. He’s a 16.2 hh off-the-track Thoroughbred that has been retrained as a hunter and is now a great lesson horse. He has a lovely personality and is a fun ride. Ben does everything from walk-trot lessons with little ones to jumping lessons with our more advanced riders.
